Blue Ridge Buckers is located in Big Island, VA. My wife, Joan, and I have been married for 34 years. We have a daughter, Shawna, a son, Buster and one grandson, Lane. I started riding bulls when I was 18 and have judged bull ridings for 20 years. I have raised cattle many years as a hobby. Buster also rode bulls and enjoys raising bulls as well. I gave Lane his first bull calf when he was 2 years old. Lane also purchased his prize heifer from Jerry Hargis in 2003. Together, our herd is growing steadily. Some of our bloodlines include: Blueberry Wine, Panhandle Slim, Strawberry Wine, Super Cool, Gunslinger, A6, Trick or Treat and Neon Nights.
